I think its important for a woman to pay the utmost attention to safety if she is serious about meeting some from the online world. Last night I met someone from a pay site and I was so glad we met in a public place. It's not that he was a bad guy or anything, but it just made it feel so much more comfortable.

Safety is a must for _both_ men and women. We're living in a time of identity theft and high tech theft -- Its easy to get cheated esp when me meet someone from the online world.. always better to be on the safe side. Don't be leaving that wallet or purse on the table when you go to the bathroom!!!

I totally agree. Safety should be your first priority while meeting online people. This is the real world here guys. Safety is important whether you decide to fall for a guy with beer breath at the bar or nerd glasses online.

Better safe than sorry. We're taught as kids to 'not trust strangers.' It is your first time meeting; I think he is still considered a stranger. Once you make it through the first through minutes and still feel comfortable, that's when you can throw off the whole stranger mindset and enjoy yourself!
