When I was single, I was never brave enough to use pick-up lines. I usually just said I and introduced myself. Try seeing it from a guy's point of view. It might open your eyes. Of course, I'm sure it's difficult being a woman and waiting for a guy to speak to you, too.

I think the worst line for a guy to say to a pretty girl is that she's pretty :D You don't say to a pretty girl that she's pretty, she knows that, say something interesting instead! then again, if said right, even telling her she's pretty will work. at least it's opening!
